Compilation of hard sound effects and Ambience Sound Effect
In this project, we were assigned to recreate a part of a movie called "Everything Everywhere All at Once". We were required to compile sound effects from the internet that matches with the given scene. Then we have to record our own voice to substitute the dialogs. After that, all the sound effect and our voice recording are inputted to the video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
In Adobe Premiere Pro, we have to use explore the tools to make the sound effect and dubbing suitable to the video. For the dialogs, I use sound pitch effect to make the pitch of my
voice change according to the character. For instance, for the male
character, I turn the pitch lower to make my voice sound deeper like
a male.
In this project, I also learned how to set the volume of the sound and use
sound transitions.

Experience
Learning how sound effect works on video clips is a fun experience for me. I get to challenge my creativity by predicting how sound should match the scene. The process of finding sound effect is entertaining because I get to use my own judgment on what sound is more suitable for the clip.
Observation
I noticed that in movies, the sound effects have to really match the environment of the scene. Sometimes, a lower-quality sound would suit some scenes more according to the placement. Sounds can be edited in After Effects.
Findings
In this task, there are three types of sounds in movies which are hard sound effect, ambient sound, and dialog. Hard sound effects are the sound that suits the action of the scenes and would have a high volume. Meanwhile, ambient sounds are the background sound of the scene that usually indicates the place. Dialog sounds are the sound of the characters talking.
