FEEDBACK 

Week 1

General Feedback: Start on the matrix, make Gdrive, and wait for further lecture plans. 

Week 2

Specific Feedback: Start the discussion section. Make sure to aim to answer the research questions by dissecting them with the themes structured from the research data. Also, make sure to pay attention to the word limit.

Week 3 

For the discussion section, make sure to cite your statements and continue making the rest of the discussion with the same pattern. Also, make sure to not change the focus, stay on the topic

Week 4

Balance the inclusion of primary data, secondary, data, and the matrix in the discussion.  Make sure to add in-text citations.

Week 5 

Start making the literary review. Ms. Yip Jinchi explained that the literature review consists of 2 or 3 concepts that interlink 2 or more journals that have been analyzed in the previous semester.

Week 6 

In the result section, make sure to include the exact data and not alter it. Start making the introduction

Week 7 

Summarise the findings and discussion, and the conclusion. Limitation of research.

Week 8

Week 9 

The first design plan gives more of a vintage feeling, which might work, but it does not correlate with the topic. The second design is supposed to look more modern; however, the title typeface and the off-white make the design look more like a retro style.

Week 10

The body text does not match the style, try to use a sans-serif typeface. Add more visuals to other pages. apply the book design subtly to every page.

Week 11

Copy the template from KREATE. If you have more than one research question, make sure to list the RQs and ROs in the problem statement.

Week 12

Revise some of the grammatical and structural errors. Add the keywords. Use one of the novel covers as an example.

REFLECTION

Experience 

Doing this module was challenging because I had to think of how to expand my previous research more deeply. The dissertation forces me to think critically about the concepts that I have researched and elaborate on how they answer the research questions. But I enjoyed making the flipbook because I got to design something from my research. In the end, I felt happy because it felt like I had published my own research book. 

Observation 

In the discussion, it is ideal to refer to the content analysis or interview while also using journal articles. This would give the statements made in the research supported. 

Findings 

I just found out that a research article should not just be the copy-paste of the dissertation. It should be more compact and straight to the point. In an article, the points should be conveyed in detailed but also in a brief.
