Overview:
In this project, students will be required to create FIVE (5) merchandise items, including a POP Display based on Project 2. The project aims to develop students' skills in creating and designing merchandise that reflects the brand and the packaging design.
Tasks:Research and analysis: You are required to conduct research and analyze the brand and packaging design. This will help you understand the brand's values, target audience, and the packaging design's visual elements and aesthetics. You must develop five merchandise concepts that reflect the brand and packaging design. These concepts should be original and aligned with the brand's message and target audience.
Design and production:
Students must design and create a digital mock-up of the five merchandise items.
Promotional Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive promotional strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Consider various channels and tactics to reach the target audience effectively. Tailor the promotional strategy to the specific goals of the project and target audience.
Assessment Criteria:
Creativity and originality: The merchandise items should be unique, creative, and original, reflecting the brand's message and values.
Visual design: The merchandise items should be aesthetically pleasing and visually aligned with the packaging design.
MerchandisingFor merchandising, we were told to come up with 4 items and all of them have to have a theme. This means that all of the items have to connect in a certain way. Hence, my group and I did a brainstorming to decide on the theme and the 4 items.

Final List of Merchandise : - Pen Holder- Pouch (Consist of funnel, straw, and brush)- Hipper- Microfiber cloth
The theme for these merchandises is "Night Owl" which means that we will provide items that are connected to people who work overnight.
After we created the merchandise mockups, we made the slide for the final presentation while also making the promotional display. During the consultation, Mr Shamsul suggested us to make the promotional display mockup to be in the places where it is likely to be seen in Malaysia. Hence, we went outside and took several pictures to make mockups.

In another consultation, Mr Shamsul suggested to delete the parts where it shows the process of making the brand identity and just show the ones that have already been used since this task mainly focuses on the merchandises.
After the final presentation, we realized that it would be better if we added a digital promotional display such as social media and website.
